Statewide point feature class of Adopt-A-Highway (AAH) sites at 'other locations' across all 12 Caltrans districts, merged into a single layer to complement the AAH_all_Highway segment layer in the statewide AAH web map. These are sites represented by a single postmile rather than a length of highway - for example Vista Points, Turnouts, Park & Ride lots, and Interchanges. Point positions are generated by the Caltrans LRS measureToGeometry operation at the site postmile along the SHN centerline (SHN_lines). The published status field (Status_Pub, aliased 'Status': Adopted, Available Pending Site Review, Vacant, Not Adoptable) drives the map symbology.
The AAH_all_other_loc feature class marks Adopt-A-Highway sites at single-postmile 'other locations' for the entire State Highway Network, merged from all 12 Caltrans districts into one statewide layer. It is produced by the same AAH application-to-feature pipeline as the companion AAH_all_Highway segment layer, from each district's GIS join query exports (D##_qry_GIS_Join_EN1 and _WS1) with personally identifiable applicant contact fields removed.
A point is generated - via the Caltrans LRS measureToGeometry operation at the site postmile along the SHN centerline (SHN_lines) - for sites defined by a single postmile rather than a length of highway, and for location types that warrant a marker (Vista Point, Turnout, Park & Ride, Interchange). The map status class (Status_Pub, aliased 'Status') is derived from the authoritative source adoption status, with 'Vacant (NSR)' shown as 'Available Pending Site Review'. The published schema is a curated subset for public display: feature key (id_AHH_Join), district, county, route, begin/end postmile and postmile span (pm_span_mi), direction, city, begin/end postmile landmark descriptions, location type, maintenance region, and the derived public status (Status_Pub, aliased 'Status'). Source applicant, contact, and group fields are not included. The layer is establish-then-update (created on first run, then truncated and reloaded).
